Man in wheelchair hit by car
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The wheelchair-bound man who was hit by a car and killed has been identified as 50-year-old Craig Brantley.
The crash happened at 6100 Merrill Road Tuesday night.
Police say Brantley was traveling east on Merrill Road in his wheelchair when he was hit by a car. The victim was not traveling in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.
Brantley was taken to the hospital where he died overnight.
