JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are investigating a bank robbery at a First Florida Credit Union.

It happened before 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The bank is located at 4500 St. Johns Avenue, between Roosevelt and Blanding boulevards.

According to police, a man demanded money from the teller, and did not show a weapon. He was wearing a light brown woman's wig and light brown sunglasses.

Police describe him as a dark complected man with shave bumps on his face, weighing about 190 pounds, about 45 years of age.

The teller handed over some cash and the suspect ran away.

Nobody saw which direction he took when he left.

Action News has a crew on the scene. We will update this story live on Action News at Noon on CBS47.
