PALATKA, Fla -- A man was indicted by a grand jury Monday for a 2007 murder case.
Daniel Lucas Wilkinson, 24, was indicted for the murder of Stephen Richardson. Richardson's body was found on July 6, 2007, inside the Barrington Apartments on Moody Road in Palatka. Richardson had been stabbed multiple times.
Wilkinson was a person of interest from the beginning, but the homicide investigation has been ongoing for five years. Eventually, evidence was found indicating that an altercation between Wilkinson and Richardson led to Richardson's death.
