Man killed in morning drive by shooting
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office needs the public's help finding the person that shot and killed a man Friday morning.
Police were called to Buckman Street and 26th Street around 8:45 a.m. after they received reports of shots fired in the area.
When units arrived they found a man in his mid-20's dead in the middle of the street. Police believe it may have been a drive-by shooting.
Detectives have spoken with a few people who heard the shots, but so far, no one saw what happened. Police received information that a white car with a spoiler was seen leaving the area very quickly.
