JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a traffic accident that left one man pinned underneath a pick-up truck.

It happened just after 3 p.m. Sunday at the Pine Oaks Village Mobile Home Park off of Philips Highway.

According to detectives, a 60-year-old woman was trying to back into a parking space when the she hit the owner of the truck, Clarence Johnson. He was behind the truck guiding her.

"Her foot slipped off of the brake and onto the accelerator.  She accelerated and ran over a 60-year-old white male," said JC Hurst, JSO.

Johnson was transported to UF & Shands Hospital where he passed away. Neighbors were stunned to hear the news.

"This is the worst thing I've ever seen," Lawton Davis, neighbor.

According to police the woman was helping Johnson move-in when the incident happened.

It is still unclear if the woman will be facing any charges.
