Man pleads guilty in bedroom crash that killed Janay Jackson
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Ismet Sijamhodzic pleaded guilty on Thursday to vehicular homicide in connection with the death of Janay Jackson.
Police say Sijamhodzic, 51, ran a stop sign and crashed through a home on Aug. 28, 2012.
The car smashed into Jackson's bedroom, killing the 17-year-old senior from Wolfson High School.
Investigators said Sijamhodzic had marijuana and Xanax in his system at the time of the crash.
Sijamhodzic will be sentenced Sept. 24.
