ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- A 55-year-old man from St. John's County is expected to be okay after being lost in a swamp for days.

According to deputies, rescuers found Guss Baker deep in a swamp in Flagler County Monday. The search began Thursday, June 20.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Flagler County Sheriff's Office received a new tip Sunday night that Baker may have been in the area around the Turkey Island Hunt Club.

Sheriff's deputies from Volusia County used a helicopter to do an aerial search to find Baker and pull him to safety.

Baker was transported to Florida Hospital Flagler in Palm Coast.
