JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man hurt in a hit and run after a fight at the Jacksonville Landing has died from his injuries.
The victim, 22 year old Taylor Evans, was ran over at the Landing after another person in a vehicle tried to flee the area.
According to witnesses, a fight started when a man hit a woman in the face and ran to his car. The man backed his truck into a van and that's when Evans jumped onto his hood. He then fell off the hood and was run over. He was transported to UF and Shands Jacksonville where he later died on Tuesday.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for the female who was battered. They believe she was a key witness to the hit-and-run accident.
