Man sentenced to 60 years for deadly Easter crash
NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. -- A judge sentenced a man to 60 years in prison for a crash that killed a family traveling during the Easter holiday in 2010.
Pedro Juan Ocasio-Alcazar received the sentence after being convicted on six counts of vehicular homicide. The victims ranged from 4 to 57 years old.
Prosecutors said Alcazar was speeding and driving recklessly on U.S. 1 with a suspended license when he hit the victims' car, sending it into pickup truck.
Brenda Mitchell Edwards, her daughter and four grandchildren were killed.
