Man sentenced to life for molesting young girls
GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. -- A Clay County man has been sentenced to life in prison for sexually abusing two young girls.
66-year-old Leo Charles Bettey Jr. was convicted on four counts of Sexual Battery.
The girls, ages five and seven, were abused between 2010 and 2012. Authorities found out about the abuse after one of the girls told her mother that Bettey inappropriately touched her.
