JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man was sentenced to two life terms in a 2011 double shooting.

Jamey Edgington, 21, pleaded guilty last week to two counts of first-degree murder and was sentenced to two life terms. The sentences run consecutively with each other and with another life sentence Edgington received in a separate shooting.

Edgington shot and killed Ananias Brevard and Bruce Lamar Clark in the early morning hours of February 2, 2011, after a brief verbal argument.

Edgington was convicted in September and sentenced to life in prison for a March 2011 shooting at Blanding Billiards. Edgington shot at and then tried to run over a man he had a verbal dispute with inside the pool hall.

Edgington's criminal history also includes a 2008 conviction for carjacking.
