JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to one day in jail after being convicted of a DUI. Police arrested Oday Damon Mickel after his car crashed and flipped on Monument Road in December 2010.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Officers who responded to the scene smelled alcohol on Mickel's breath and observed other signs of impairment. Mickel also performed poorly on field sobriety exercises.
The 35-year-old was sentenced to one day in jail and twelve months of probation.
