JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are looking for a man and a woman in connection with a shooting on the Southside.

Police found 28-year-old James Conrad with a gunshot wound outside a home on Nashua Drive late Monday night.

The victim's roommate told police a man and a woman came to their house looking for another man. The couple waited on the front porch.

The roommate told detectives he went back inside and, a few minutes later, he heard a single gunshot.

He returned to find Conrad on the ground with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Conrad was taken to UF Health with life-threatening injuries.

Police recovered a handgun in the middle of the street.

Call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS. You will remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward of up to $3,000 if your tip leads to an arrest.
