Man struck & killed in Mayport
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are investigating a fatal crash in Mayport.
A pickup truck ran into a man who tried to cross Mayport Road near Buccaneer late Monday night.
Eyewitnesses say several drivers honked at the man as he crossed through a red light.
The man appeared intoxicated, according to eyewitnesses.
Police say the driver won't be charged.
The victim has not been identified.
