JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Clouds helped us out Friday morning as temperatures held in the mid 40s. Clouds and wind will continue to be a factor over the weekend and will help determine how low our temps drop.
In the short term...Friday's highs will top out about 10 degrees below normal. Into Saturday morning, we enter the 30s! However...the First Alert Weather Team is NOT expecting a widespread frost Saturday morning. Winds will stay elevated, which will help prevent that from happening. Wind chills, however, will be in the 20s!
You'll need to continue to bundle up Saturday night, Sunday, Sunday night, and Monday. Daytime temperatures mainly in the 50s with winds of 10 to 20 mph! Wind gusts will exceed 20 mph on occasion.
Wind chills again in the 20s Sunday morning with an inland freeze possible. The most likely morning for a freeze is Monday morning. A freeze is not expected at the Beaches (east of the Intracoastal).
