Marion County deputy resigns from her job after internal investigation
MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- A Lieutenant with the Sheriff's department has turned in her resignation.
Lieutenant Rhonda Steplight-Jones is stepping down after an internal investigation over harassing phone calls she made to another woman.
Steplight-Jones informed her supervisor she was being investigated by the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
She will be appearing in a Orange County courtroom to be charged with making harassing phone calls.
