Masked man robs Jax Beach bank

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are looking for an local man who robbed a Jax Beach SunTrust Bank Friday morning.

The Jacksonville Beach Police were called to the SunTrust Bank in the 3700 block of 3rd Street after a masked man walked in with a pistol and demanded money.

According to witnesses, the suspect pointed his gun at a bank teller, demanded money and fled the scene.

Police are looking for a male who was wearing a black mask and a brown sweatshirt. If you have any information regarding the suspect you are asked to call the Jacksonville Beach Police at 904-270-1667.

and just how in the hell do they know it's a local man ??? maybe he was simply passing through & decided to hit a bank ??? if he was wearing a mask, i doubt they have any clue who they are looking for !!!
