How about a pro bono class action lawsuit for all the extra gas and wear and tear on our cars caused by this neglience? Any legal eagles up for it?

I guess nobody paid attention to the local area tide charts for that day, I have actually expected this to happen to the Dames Point bridge with a cruise ship.

By the way, funding this repair is a good excuse for the county to raise residents' property taxes AGAIN.

"The Jacksonville Jaguars play the Indianapolis Colts Sunday afternoon at EverBank Field. The team is holding a news conference Friday at 11:30 a.m. to explain traffic plans for game day." A football team that can't find its way 100 yards down the football field is going to give people driving directions through downtown J-ville? This ought to be good.

All this is, is just another issue for Jax GREAT! They say that they might be able to get the bridge reopened by Monday, but they need to face the facts this can be months long before we see anything happen. I hope the right people are charged for this major mess up that affects the entire city and its people.
