JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Mathews Bridge will be closed again, but it won't be for repairs related to the hit from a Navy ship.

The Florida Department of Transportation says the closures are for the repainting and steel repair.
The closures will be in effect from Monday, Nov. 11, through the morning of Thursday, Nov. 14.The lanes going into downtown will close at 9 p.m. each night to help crews prepare for the work.
The bridge will then close in both directions at midnight and reopen at 6 a.m.
