Medical Examiner: Crow Bar stabbing victim bled to death

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The Medical Examiner said a man who died after being stabbed in a bar fight bled to death.

The fight happened last week at the Crow Bar on State Road 16.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said 39-year-old Rickie Wayne Starling of Fernandina Beach suffered a stab wound to his leg and died at Flagler Hospital.

Investigators questioned and released 45-year-old Scott Douglas Kerins.

The Sheriff's Office sent its investigation to the State Attorney's Office to determine whether charges will be filed.
