Memorial Hospital recognized for quality
JACKSONVILLE (ActionNewsJax.com) -- Memorial Hospital is the only Jacksonville hospital to be a named a "Top Performer" by The Joint Commission Annual Report on Quality and Safety 2012. Memorial was recognized for excellence in the areas of Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Pneumonia, and Surgical Care.
"This is a great achievement," said Memorial Hospital President & CEO James O’Loughlin. "This recognition shows that we are a national leader in improving patient outcomes.”
This is the second year in a row Memorial Hospital has been honored with this distinction. Fewer than 8% of hospitals nationwide achieve this recognition.
