Memorial set for scooter victim
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Memorial services for a woman hit from behind on her scooter are set for tomorrow.
Chelsea Wantz was struck last weekend on U.S. 1 near the Deltona exit.
She died a few days later at UF & Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. Her organs were harvested.
Friends and family will gather at the Family Worship Center in St. Augustine. It's located at 2040 SR 207. The service begins at 3 p.m.
A charity event in Wantz's name will be held at a later date.
Charges are pending against 19-year-old Christopher Langford, the driver of the car.
