SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Two men have been arrested for sailing a head-turning creation down the Santa Fe River.

Police say the men stole a pontoon dock, attached a Jeep to it and sailed the invention down the river.

Investigators have charged Robert Alvord and Kenneth Rehberg with grand theft for stealing the parts for their boat/Jeep creation.

Investigators say the two men admitted to stealing the pontoon dock that was used to keep the Jeep afloat. Alvord told officers their unique vessel was very popular on the river and had received plenty of comments.

The pontoon dock, which is worth between $400 and $600, has been returned to its owner.
