JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Special Olympics received a big boost today from anchors Mike Barz and Lynnsey Gardner.

The two showed off their talents in a contest with CarMax, along with Steve Christian at the CW.

Mike beat Lynnsey in parallel parking (Steve topped them all), but Lynnsey beat everyone in a packing the trunk contest. Steve won 2 of the 3 events by also winning the contest to guess the cars.

However, the big winner is the Special Olympics. Lynnsey and Mike each earned $1,000 for Special Olympics Duval County. Steve won $2,000 for the MDA.

The CarMax Road Rally was part of the grand opening of Jacksonville's second CarMax location on Blanding Boulevard.

The President and CEO of the company came to the River City today to be there for the ribbon cutting of the chain's 13th store in Florida. This newest addition brought 60 new jobs to the Jacksonville area.
