Missing 2-year-old Gainesville boy found safe

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Police have a 2-year-old boy who disappeared this afternoon. They say he is doing fine.

Gainesville Police were searching for Isaiah Washington. The boy was last seen at 1367 NE 28th Ave. about 3:45 p.m. His grandmother called police. 

Ben Tobias of the Gainesville Police Department told Action News that police thought they saw the mother and son getting on a bus on surveillance video from the regional transit authority. The mother later returned home with the boy.
