JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police have canceled the search for a 70-year-old with Alzheimer's missing since Saturday morning.  Police say Ronald Zeigler was found safe late Saturday by FHP in the Maclenny area.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office put out the alert just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday asking for help in locating Zeigler.  They say he was last seen at 10 a.m. leaving his home in the Lone Star Rd. area in his white 2013 Ford Fusion with Pennsylvania license plate.

According to JSO, Zeigler suffers from Alzheimer's and may be headed back to the Pennsylvania area.  According to family, he has good long-term memory but suffers from short-term memory loss.

At 11:30 p.m., JSO announced Zeigler was found safe near Maclenny.
