JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police say a man reported missing from the Hidden Hills area of Jacksonville has been found safe.

Investigators say Anthony Louis Howell, 21, became angry on Saturday night. Police say he packed some clothes and left his home on Hampstead Drive, just east of Ed Austin Regional Park.

He was reported missing the next day. Authorities say he has the mental capacity of a 6th-grader. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, dark shorts and carrying a Florida Gators backpack.

Police found him near a McDonald's near New Kings Road and Edgewood Avenue after getting a call from a "vigilant citizen."
