Missing man with brain injury walks away from home

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police with the Jacksonville's Sheriff's Office are looking for a man who walked away from an assisted living facility.

Robert Allen Hoopes, 26, has a brain injury and can not communicate well. He was last scene in the area of Dale Court.

Hoopes is described as being 6' tall and weighing around 170lbs. He also has a tattoo of a cross with "twin lakes" written in the center on his chest.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of this missing person is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-0500.
