JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is no longer looking for a blue stroller that once belonged to the mother of 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle.

Police say an alert citizen found the stroller in the 2300 block of Broward Road Saturday morning.

The JSO homicide unit processed the scene where the stroller was found and took the item into evidence.

Sex offender Donald Smith was charged in the death of Perrywinkle.

Police say Cherish's mother, Rayne Perrywinkle, put the stroller in Smith's van when the family left with him from the Dollar General.
