Mobile home catches fire after explosion

STARKE, Fla. -- Florida State fire Marshals are investigating a fire that destroyed a home in Bradford County Friday morning.

According to Bradford County Emergency Management, the fire left at least one family pet dead and one firefighter injured.

Firefighters responded to a call about flames coming from the roof of a mobile home located at 2042 E. State Road 230, officials said.

No one was home at the time of the fire, according to Emergency Management. A dog was found inside after the fire was out, and at least one other is missing.
