More than $40,000 worth of cell phones stolen in Lake City
LAKE CITY, Fla. -- In Columbia County, police are looking for the people who stole more than $40,000 worth of cell phones.
Investigators say an alarm was triggered early Sunday morning at a T-mobile store at 3529 NW Bascom Norris Drive in Lake City.
The security company says two people were inside when the alarm went off.
Those thieves were gone before police arrived four minutes later.
A similar theft happened friday in Gainesville.
