JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Onshore showers blossomed prior to lunch time on Wednesday...bringing tropical downpours and excessive lightning.

The thunder rolled from the beaches to the I-95 Corridor as the warmer water of the Atlantic Ocean provided the feul for a quick 1" of rain in localized spots.

The onshore flow will continue...pushing morning rain in the Jacksonville Metro Area inland by afternoon and evening.

We'll have a similar setup to finish the work week. And it'll stay muggy with high humidity and seasonably hot temperatures.
