PALM COAST, Fla. -- A Mobile gas station just off I-95 and State Road 100 is the place where a mother of six lost her life. While family and friends mourn her loss, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office is trying to figure out why someone would kill her.
The owner of the gas station says nothing was stolen from the store. Now, surveillance video may be the only way to find some answers for a grieving family.
Deputies are not releasing the video at this time. They say it wouldn't help find the suspect because he pulled a shirt over his head to hide his identity.
Meanwhile, a family is grieving for 32-year-old Zuheily Rosado. She was found dead behind the counter by a customer around 10:20 last night.
We stayed at a distance as Rosado's boyfriend arrived. All he could say is, 'I want to see my wife."
Rosado was a mother of six children, whose ages range from 6 months to 16 years old. She worked at the gas station for 3 years.
A friend of Rosado says she shouldn't have been working alone last night.
"She needed a second person in there at night," said Ray Tange. "This place has been robbed before and it's not exactly the best location."
"Hopefully we will change that," added store owner Rizzi Ansari. "We have two people instead of one, if it will help a person's safety."
Investigators say the suspect walked away from the store and headed toward Interstate 95. Beyond that, investigators don't know how he left the scene.
Deputies say they will be reviewing surveillance video from businesses up and down I-95 in their search for the killer.
