JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Memories are all his family has left of Michael England.
He was killed by a hit-and-run driver back in May off Pitts and Slay roads.
Now months later, the family still hasn't found his killer.
"It's still unbelievable how someone can hit a 195-pound man and not know they didn't hit him and not stop and do the right thing," England's mother, Bridget Massie, said.
England was walking home from a friends house at 4 a.m., May 18.
Detectives tell his mother a car hit him, and the driver left without calling police.
"He told me there was no evidence at the scene." Massie said.
Now the family is hoping the community can step up and help find the killer.
"I have posted signs and flowers all over the community. I've posted it on Facebook, anywhere I can." Massie said.
"I think we all want the same thing. we all want answers we all want to know why and what happened that night," England's friend Lisa Myers said.
England's mother thinks the driver must have used a back street to get away, which avoided getting caught on nearby surveillance cameras.
But his family and friends aren't giving up hope, even if all odds are against them.
"All of us that are trying to keep everyone knowing about it, so it doesn't fade, cause we want answers and were not going to stop till we get answers," Myers said.
