JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The mother of the man beaten by a crowd at Jacksonville Beach says she's frustrated and angry.
Stephanie West is frustrated because she wants to see an arrest.
"I'm very angry because with thousands of people at the beach like that, Jacksonville Beach police was nowhere around," said West in an interview with Action News.
Anthony Jones is recovering from the Memorial Day fight.
He suffered a dislocated shoulder and showed signs of soreness and slow movement.
There are also scars from the brawl captured on video, which has now gone viral.
"The little part I did see, when the guy came from behind my son and pushed him on the ground. When the guy was stomping and kicking, I just bust out crying. I couldn't even look at it."
And in other developments, a new video clip has surfaced. It shows one of the other fights that led up to the fight where West's son got decked. The video shows a large crowd of people fighting in the dunes. One person near the camera shouts, "That looks like little Chris, that looks like little Chris!"
So far, police have not made any arrests but have pledged a stronger police presence at the next big event at the beach, fireworks on July 4.
