JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- After two years, an accused killer will go on trial Tuesday.
Taurice Brown is accused of shooting Analiza Gobaton in October of 2010.
The mother of three was sitting in traffic on Blanding Blvd., when she was killed instantly by a stray bullet.
Police say Brown was involved in a drug deal one block away, when a fight occured and he shot his gun, hitting Gobaton.
The trial was set to begin during the opening week of the new courthouse, but was delayed due to building code problems.
Gobaton's family told Action News at the time that they were frustrated, but believed they would soon have their day in court.
Taurice Brown has pleaded not guilty to second degree murder. His trial will begin at 9 am Tuesday.
