Motorcyclist hit by car near FSCJ North Campus
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A Jacksonville motorcyclist is in life-threatening condition after being rear ended by a car near Florida State College at Jacksonville North Campus.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says the motorcyclist was riding south on North Campus Boulevard just after 8:30 a.m. Friday. Police say that's when he was hit by a Dodge Charger exiting the east parking lot of Florida State College.
Police say the 39-year-old motorcyclist was thrown from his bike. He was taken to UF Health with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver did not see the motorcycle approaching. Both she and her 13-year-old granddaughter, who was in the passenger seat, are ok. The driver of the Dodge Charger is charged in the crash.
