I'm 28 years old and the year of 1986 my cousin was taking his girlfriend HOME and he was in a hurry to get her home before her curfew. He stopped at the stop sign and didn't anything coming so he got to the middle of the road and a drunk driver was coming with the lights off on the vehicle he was driving and that's why my cousin didn't see the vehicle and hit my cousin and his girlfriend. The accident happened so fast but let's just say my was dead at the scene and his lived because she had helmet on.I really don't like drunk drivers. And when hear about the accidents involving a motorcycle accident it makes me so mad and I cry because I didn't get to meet my cousin. He three days before my first birthday and the same year and day my little brother was born.My cousin's mom really don't like my brother because he was born on the same day of the fatal accident.SO PEOPLE PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES THEY HAVE THE SAME RIGHT TO THE ROAD AS WE DO.

It's definitely "Dead on scene". My son and I had the misfortune of passing by shortly after. They could have done a better job of draping the sheet over the poor soul who was killed. Based on the sneakers, I'd say it was a young man. I got the impression (purely my hypothesis) that the garbage truck pulled out of the side street in front of the motorcycles...just based on the position of everything at the scene. I have no idea who was at fault. My condolences to the family, the other motorcyclist and the driver of the garbage truck, as this is something that will haunt him.

People don't pay attention to motorcycles! They kill or severly injure motorcyclists. I know, as I have been hit by 2 people in 2 seperate accidents. First, I spent 2 weeks in the hospital and had 2 surgeries. Second...I was cut off by a pick-up making a u-turn in front of me. I was given a 30% chance to live, my wife and son were called to see me in the hospital before I passed. I didn't. I will bet you, taht the garbage truck driver hit the motorcycle. God Bless him/or her and his/or her family. Drivers get a failue to yeild right of way ticket..thats all. They need to lose thier drivers license for at least 6 months or more. LOOK OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES!! They have as much right on the road as cars.
