Motorcyclist killed in crash in Bradford County
BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. -- A local man died when his motorcycle collided with a car on West Weldon Street.
The Florida Highway Patrol says Lisa Rowe-Lewis, 47, turned into the path of an oncoming motorcycle while in her BMW.
Markus Lee Staten, 42, slammed into the front of the BMW and flew into the street. He died at UF & Shands Hospital in Starke.
Rowe-Lewis was not hurt in the crash. Charges are pending in the investigation.
