Murdered UF student's family partners with missing children network
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- One year after the murder of University of Florida student Christian Aguilar, family members and friends are coming together to help prevent others from falling victim to those who seek to do evil.
The Aguilar family has partnered with the Missing Children Global Network to launch an app that will help locate missing young ones.
The app is called the Christian Aguilar Mobile Alert and is available to both Android and Apple users.
MCGN is a nonprofit organization that helps to provide vital information on missing people to different organizations.
The suspect in Aguilar's murder is due back in court in November.
A trial date has yet to be announced.
