FLAGLER BEACH, Fla. -- Family and friends gathered at a Flagler Beach cemetery Thursday to say their final goodbyes to Zuheily Roman Rosado.
The 32-year-old mother was shot and killed last week while she worked the late shift at a convenience store off State Road 100 in Palm Coast.
"I love her too much," said her father, Virgilio Roman. He and several other family members flew up from Puerto Rico to pay their final respects.
Police have few leads, and no motive for her murder. Dennis Roman, her half brother said, "She didn't deserve this."
They're hoping the public to comes forward with information. "All the family, the friends, we can't believe it," said friend Claudia Rodriguez. "Still, we can't believe it."
They say they don't know who would want Rosado dead. They say they don't recognize the gunman in the
surveillance video. And they're hoping someone will come forward to help them understand why the young mother's life was taken so soon.
"We hope the community can help out," said Dennis Roman. "Any leads would definitely benefit the family."
A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Tipsters are being asked to call
Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.
Roman says his half-sister's six children, who range in age from 16 years to just six months, are being cared for by their maternal grandmother.
