FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. -- It's back to school for hundreds of students in Nassau County.
For some students, there was excitement.
"Got up, got dressed, ate breakfast, got my book bag ready," sixth-grader Sarah Myers said.
Others had a more difficult time adjusting to their new schedules.
"It was new compared to waking up over summer. I had to get up really early," eighth-grader Michael Weeks said.
But it's not just the students adjusting.
"Get through the first week and I'll be OK," parent Michelle Myers said.
Myers has two daughters going back to school today. She said she and her husband had to prepare in advance for this day.
"We're starting at two different schools, middle school and high school, and getting all the supplies that they need," Myers said.
