NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. -- Two ATVs collided near Hilliard, killing a local teenager, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP reports that Erica Smith, 14, was driving behind an ATV driven by Chas Harrison, 13, before the vehicles collided and eventually overturned.
Both drivers were ejected from their ATVs, along Woods Roads, according to first responders.
Troopers tell Action News that Smith died from her injuries.
Harrison, 13, suffered minor injuries, according to the crash report.
No charges were filed in the deadly crash.
