JACKSONVILLE, Fla -- Unseasonable spring-like warmth will continue a couple of more days before much cooler temperatures -- though not much worse than average -- move in Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will soar to 80+ and within a few degrees of record highs Tuesday and Wednesday. Isolated afternoon showers will be possible Tuesday and Wednesday, but the primary band of rain will move west to east across metro Jacksonville, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia Wednesday night. The cold front producing the rain will drop highs into the 60s Thursday and Friday.
