JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Temperatures have been on a steady climb this week. Jacksonville topped out at 78 degrees on Thursday. The First Alert Weather Team is forecasting 80 on Friday. How do these numbers compare to normal? They are WELL above average.
Jacksonville's average high temperature for January 11th is 64 degrees. We will finish Friday with a temperature closer to the record: 83 degrees set in 1974.
The pattern has becoming stagnant, allowing this weather to persist through the weekend and into the early part of next week. Afternoon high temps will range between 77 and 81 degrees through Tuesday. We expect the next cold front to finally arrive on Wednesday.
If you have outdoor plans over the next few days, you can expect mostly dry conditions as well. Have a great weekend!
