Perhaps, one day the city health department or our mayor, will start leaning on all banks/mortgage companies holding vacant homes and property with unkept swiming pools, ponds and small lakes which are uncontrolled breeding zones for mosquitoes. Certainly we will not hold our breath but, doing nothing at our city government level, will certainly not stop the spread of West Nile.
