It is not a battleship. Calling a amphibious transport dock (LPD) a battleship is like calling the mayor of a city the Presdient of the United States. BB are no longer fielded by the US Navy. Those of us who served in the US Navy take offense to not calling a ship by its desginated class type. Not every ship is a battleship. Some are destroyers with different roles, some are cruisers with several different type roles, some are carriers, some are troop transport ships, some are subs. ETC calling a transport landing craft a battleship implies that it can fight at sea and hold its own against any other ship this ship cannot do that period.
