JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the killing of Amber Bass. The organization is also adding $1,000 reward for the gun used in the crime.
Police found the 22-year-old woman shot to death in a driveway of her home on the Westside on July 19.
"It's very hard for us to move forward with our lives knowing someone is out there and could potentially hurt someone else's family," said Amber's sister Robin Lezcano.
Investigators say a neighbor's surveillance camera captured a light-colored vehicle in the neighborhood around the time of the killing.
Bass came home from a night out with friends when she was shot.
Call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS if you have any information.
Mad Dads will be gathering on Friday night for a candlelight vigil. It will be held in a park across the street from where she was killed at 8484 Springtree Road. It starts at 6 p.m.
"Let's help bring back peace to our neighborhoods by removing these individuals who have no regards for life, safety, or justice, by calling Crime Stoppers," said Elder Donald Foy of Mad Dads.
