New leads announced in Oakleaf field vandalism

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. -- The Clay County Sheriff's Office says it has new leads in the vandalism of a sports field in Oakleaf.

Someone in a car spun circles in the practice fields at the Oakleaf Ball Fields on Plantation Oaks Boulevard last Thursday.

The vandal destroyed an estimated 8200 square feet of grass and sod, causing an estimated $10,000 in damage.

So far, deputies have not made any arrests.

ok, so thinking back 10 years to when I was 16, THAT looks like it was a freaking BLAST! Hate to admit it, but kids dont think about their actions, especially when tearing up a little grass.. im sure when they saw the news report with the estimated damages they s**t a brick this morning.

a-men put them on the field to fix it then 20,000 hour's service to the community. where were the parent's? they should made to pay for damage's.
