JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A trial date has been set for the man accused of killing Wolfson High School Student Janay Jackson.
Ismet Sijamhodzic is charged with vehicular manslaughter in the case. He will stand trial on August 19.
Sijamhodzic did not appear in court this morning for the pre-trial hearing.
During the hearing, Sijamhodzic's defense attorney requested Janay Jackson's emergency medical records. The attorney also requested to examine the vehicle Simjamhodzic was allegedly driving at the time of the crash, as well as the crash site.
The state agreed to all of the requests except the crash site because Jackson's parents still live in the home.
The next pre-trial hearing in this case is scheduled for June 5 at 9 a.m.
